Products

Create products, price them, add variants and media, and control visibility and stock

A product is what the customer sees and buys. What they receive is the benefits attached to it. The two are deliberately separate, so one benefit can back several products.

Products have no stock field

A product's remaining quantity is derived from the benefits attached to it, taking the smallest one. If every attached benefit is unlimited, the product never runs out. To add stock, add it on the benefit.

Creating a product

Go to Catalog → Products → Add product and fill it in section by section.

Name

Shown on the product card, the product page, and receipts. The product page URL is generated from it.

Description

A rich editor with headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, bullet and numbered lists, quotes, dividers, tables, and links. Maximum 8,000 characters.

Put the questions you get asked most into the description: what it works with, how long it lasts, what the buyer needs beforehand. Nothing else cuts support volume as much.

Price

Per unit, in the store's currency. With variants enabled, price moves onto each variant instead.

Media

Pick images or video from the file library. Drag to reorder; the first item is what the product card uses.

Benefits

Attach what the buyer receives. Attach more than one and they get all of them.

Status

Decide who can see it (table below), then save.

Status and visibility

StatusMeaning
PublishedListed on the storefront, searchable, purchasable
UnlistedHidden from the shop but reachable by direct link — good for private offers
DraftHidden entirely until published
ArchivedRemoved from the catalog without deleting: past orders keep their data, and it can be restored

In the product list you can select several rows and change status or archive them in one action.

Variants

Use variants when one product comes in several packages, durations, or tiers — for example 1 month / 3 months / 1 year.

  • Add them under "Pricing and variants"
  • Each variant carries its own price and its own benefits, so the yearly tier can draw from a different key pool than the monthly one
  • The first variant is the default — it defines the product's headline price and benefits
  • Drag to reorder; the order you see is the order buyers see
  • The storefront shows a "from …" price when variants differ

Turning variants off destroys data

Disabling variants permanently deletes the extra ones, keeping only the default variant's price and benefits.

Per-order limit

Turn on purchase limit and set a maximum (1–99) per order. At the cap the quantity stepper stops and the add-to-cart button is disabled. Leave it off and buyers can order as much as you have in stock.

Useful for promotions, for spreading limited supply around, and for stopping one buyer clearing your stock in a single order.

How stock works

The product reads its quantity from attached benefits

Attach a key pool with 12 keys left plus an unlimited text benefit, and the product has 12 left.

Several benefits means the smallest one wins

A pool of 12 plus a pool of 5 gives a product with 5 left.

A product with nothing left shows "sold out"

It cannot be bought until you restock the benefit.

Stock is reserved at checkout

An order that stock cannot cover is refused at checkout. Nothing oversells.

Preview the delivery

The product editor has a preview fulfilment button showing exactly what the buyer sees after paying, including a sample receipt and the benefits they receive. You can change the previewed quantity — and if the key pool cannot cover it, you are warned here, before a customer hits it.

Use it every time you change a benefit. It is the quickest way to confirm buyers get the right thing.

Deleting and restoring

Deleting a product archives it rather than erasing it. It leaves the catalog, past orders keep their product data, and it can be restored later.
