Receiving payments
Configure your receiving account, PromptPay and TrueMoney, and understand every slip rule
This page is the heart of the shop. Without it customers cannot load credit, and without credit they cannot buy. Configure it under Settings → Payment.
The money lands in your account
Customers transfer to you directly; m1m is not an escrow. What the platform does is verify that the transfer really reached your account and record it as the customer's credit. A forged slip that gets through is your loss.
The two supported channels
The customer scans your QR or transfers to your account number, then uploads the slip. The system reads the QR printed on the slip and checks it against real bank data before crediting anything.
Run both at once, or just one.
Setting up the receiving account
Bank and account number
Pick the bank and enter the account customers will transfer to.
Account holder name
Enter it exactly as the bank records it, character for character. It is compared against the name on your customers' slips, and a mismatch is rejected.
English account name (optional)
Fill this in if your bank prints the English name on slips. It raises the pass rate.
PromptPay proxy (optional, but important)
Fill this in only when your QR is linked to a mobile number, national ID, or e-wallet ID rather than the account number above. Those slips mask the account number, and without this field a genuine transfer can be rejected even though the money reached you.
Receiving QR (optional)
Upload your QR image (PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 180 KB) so customers can scan it directly.
A QR alone is not enough
Uploading a QR does not switch on transfers, because every slip is checked against the account details you entered, not against the picture — and the QR must pay into that same account.
Receiving-account states
The settings page always tells you where you stand. Read it before wondering why customers cannot top up.
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| Not ready to submit | Incomplete; the shop cannot accept transfers — the page names the missing fields |
| Shop accepting transfers | Your account is shown, and slips are checked against bank, account number, and holder name |
| Account verified | Slips are checked against the full account number through the verification service — the strictest state |
| Account changed | You just switched accounts; the new one is shown, and slips paid into the old one are rejected |
When to change accounts
Change during a quiet period and tell your customers. Anyone who transferred to the old account moments earlier will fail to top up, and you will be fixing it by hand.
Setting up TrueMoney
Enter the phone number of the TrueMoney Wallet that should receive gift vouchers. Vouchers your customers send are redeemed into it automatically when they paste the link.
Limits worth telling customers about:
- Expired vouchers and vouchers already fully claimed will not work
- A voucher sent from the same TrueMoney account that receives it cannot be redeemed
- A link cannot be reused, and repeated clicking just parks it as an in-flight check
The slip rules
Every slip must clear all of these. The system rejects at the first unmet condition.
What a checked transfer costs you
Checking a slip is a paid service, and we pass it through at cost: ฿0.30 per
transfer we verify and credit in your storefront. It is deducted from your store
wallet the moment the customer's credit lands, and appears in your billing history as
a Bank transfer check line. It is the only thing that draws on that wallet —
hosting itself is free.
- You are only charged for transfers that actually credit a customer. Slips we cannot read, slips paid to the wrong account, and slips already used cost you nothing.
- TrueMoney envelopes are not checked this way and carry no fee.
- Your own wallet top-ups are not charged either — that fee is for your storefront's transfers, not for paying us.
- Nothing about it can stop a sale: if your store wallet cannot cover the fee, the transfer is still checked and the customer still credited — we skip the fee rather than record a debt, and the balance never goes below zero.
At ฿0.30 a transfer, a shop taking a hundred transfers a month spends ฿30 on checks. The welcome credit that came with your shop covers roughly nine hundred of them.
Common customer-facing errors, and what to answer
| The customer sees | The real cause | Tell them |
|---|---|---|
| We could not read this slip | The QR is cropped out or the photo is blurry | Send the whole slip from the banking app, QR visible |
| This slip paid a different account | Wrong account, or you changed accounts | Re-check the account shown in the top-up box |
| This slip was already used | It credited successfully the first time | Check the credit balance; if it was not them, send the reference id |
| This slip is too old | Over 24 hours | Send the reference id so you can check it by hand |
| Too many attempts | Rate limited | Wait about a minute and retry |
| The verification service is busy | The provider is queueing | Their money is safe; retry in a few minutes |
Keeping the shop safe
Check your real balance before releasing high-value goods
For unusually large orders, open your banking app. This is the check automation cannot do for you.
Never use someone else's account
The name has to match what is verified, and you need real access to confirm receipts.
Record the reference id whenever you help someone manually
Any time you grant credit outside the automated check, note the slip's reference id.
Revisit the receiving account periodically
Especially after changing banks, the number linked to PromptPay, or your TrueMoney number.
